We have been working for more than 10 years with Rencay products and have been very satisfied with the results and the support.

From the more than 6 million documents of the Zurich Central Library, we are scanning primarily illuminated manuscripts, graphic works, historical photographs and historic maps in our specially equipped Digitization Center.

What qualities of Rencay products do you like most?

Mr. Moerkerk:
We appreciate the user interface, it is simple to understand and very easy to get repeatable results. Even the color management is easy to perform, with unsurpassed color quality of the scans.

RENCAY:
You have been working for over 10 years with our Rencay systems; how would you summarize your overall experience?

Mr. Moerkerk:
I can only express a positive opinion. The Rencay products are durable, trouble-free and are easy-to-use. However, if some problem should happen, Rencay employees are immediately available with advice and practical assistance.

RENCAY:
Is there a particular project that you have produced with the Rencay devices?

Mr. Moerkerk:
Yes, one special project was the Rheinauer Psalter, a highly significant masterpiece of Gothic illumination of the 13th century. This particular manuscript was scanned with the Rencay equipment for the facsimile publisher Quaternio. The publisher was completely satisfied with this project and is creating a full facsimile edition. It can be viewed at:
